THE JOURNEY

All but six years of my life have been spent in an educational setting of some type. As a student, coach, teacher, administrator and mentor, the years have passed quickly, the experiences have been rich, and I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Would I do things differently? Possessing what I know now, absolutely! But when it is all over none of us will be able to relive anything. What we can do is celebrate and rejoice if the positives have outweighed the negatives and if the contributions and the lives we have touched appear more often on the credit side of the ledger than the marks on the debit. My professional responsibility to contribute weighs heavily, and the opinions and the lessons that follow are mine.
Thank you for reading; please let me hear from you. Do you have additional thoughts that might help me in framing future posts? Constructive criticism is welcomed; questions, thoughts, responses, requests for additional information about a topic or for a specific, new topic you want to explore. I hope the posts that are intended to be humorous don't fall flat or come across different from my best intentions. This is an educational learning experience for me as it is for you; I never want to stop learning. Thanks again for reading and, hopefully subscribing.
